Join in YBLA’s monthly meeting and be a part of their public art project at the Grand Central Market which YBLA will transform into a Greek-inspired yarn-polis with an installation that looks at the coming together of crafters, pedestrians, and downtown LA. This original, site-specific art piece will be unveiled in November 2014. All skill levels are welcome and encouraged!

Submission Call

Call for submissions!

The Craft & Folk Art Museum and the Farhang Foundation announce a call for submissions for an international juried exhibition of contemporary photography and video works relating to Iranian culture and heritage. Titled Focus Iran: Contemporary Photography and Video, the exhibition is an opportunity to expose and feature emerging and mid-career photographers and media artists from around the world. 

Artists 18 years of age and older are invited to apply between July 21 and September 21, 2014.
