Join John Burton, Invertigo Dance Theatre set designer, in the creation of collaborative set pieces utilizing re-purposed materials. The set pieces will be used in Invertigo’s upcoming production, After It Happened, presented at the Ford Amphitheatre this September. All participants will be credited and offered discounted tickets to the production.

Artist/educator/activist Dan Guerrero travels through decades of Mexican-American/Chicano and LGBTQ history to explore the intersection of the social and political movements in both communities. Through his own experiences, Guerrero addresses the importance of solidarity across cultural currents in this powerful presentation.

The Craft and Folk Art Museum—its unlikely frontage peering mischievously over Museum Row—has in the last few years come to the forefront of the LA art scene with its unpredictable exhibitions. Executive Director Suzanne Isken and her exhibition team (Holly Jerger, Exhibitions Curator; Andres Payan, Curator of Public Engagement; Sasha Ali, Manager of Exhibitions and Communications) have smartly built genre-bending shows around signature LA artists, thereby enticing a wider audience.
